The Jedward dream ends

The phenomenon that is John and Edward have become the latest act to be sent home from The X Factor.

Without a doubt they have been the most talked about act in this year's show.  The last time the twins landed in the bottom two, it was Lucie Jones who was sent home, this time the boys were out of luck.

On Saturday night we were treated to a whole host of George Michael and Wham songs, including 'Faith', 'Careless Whisper' and 'I Can't Make You Love Me'.  Olly Murs performed 'Fastlove' and found himself in the bottom two with John and Edward who performed 'I'm Your Man' ...with added rap.

Sunday night's show saw Susan Boyle return to live TV to sing her new single as well as a performance by Mariah Carey.  Then it was Olly and Jedward's turn to sing for survival.

John and Edward sung the Boyzone hit 'No Matter What' while Olly survived with his version of Eric Calpton's 'Wonderful Tonight'.  This week it didn't go to deadlock, the judges could decided and it was Olly who was saved and put through to the next round.
