Alex Day goes top 10
The UK YouTube star, Alex Day looks set to score a Vodafone Big Top 40 top ten hit.
Alex Day is an unsigned independent musician and a YouTube video maker who goes by the name Nerimon, he's now the biggest independent UK solo artist on this site with over 470,000 subscribers.
'Forever Yours' was written, produced and performed by Alex in one day and Alex is hoping it can take on the likes of Little Mix and the Military Wives in the Christmas chart.
Unlike the other Christmas contenders this year, Alex says what makes 'Forever Yours' special is that it is an original song and not a cover like the other contenders.
The single has been released in aid of World Vision, a charity who Alex volunteered with in Zambia.
The song has already made its way in to the iTunes top 10 and on Christmas Day we'll find out if it can top the festive chart.
