Gaga's new video is a monster
Lady Gaga's new music video has broken records to become one of the fastest growing videos in history.
The 9 minute video for 'Telephone', which features Beyonce was added exclusively to YouTube via Vevo on Thursday afternoon and in just over 24 hours the video had received a massive half a million views.
Fans have been patiently waiting for Gaga's new video for the past few weeks, after Gaga originally promised that the video would be released before the end of February.
Even prior to the video release of the 'Telephone', Lady Gaga's videos already accounted for around 25% of all music videos streamed by Vevo. So, by the time the video finally hit the website, it exploded in popularity.
Less than a week on, the video is fast approaching 20 million views and will soon claims it's place in YouTube's most watched music videos of all time.
On her Twitter account over the weekend, Lady Gaga thanked her fans, "Telephone made history today little monsters! Thank you for all your support of the video, you are the future, you are the kings and queens".
