Jay-Z and Rihanna to perform in aid of Haiti

Jay-Z and Rihanna have confirmed that they'll be taking part in a charity gig in London on Friday night in aid of the Haiti earthquake relief appeal.

The US stars will be joined by U2 and Coldplay for the London leg of the global 'Hope For Haiti Now' appeal.

Shows will also being taking place simultaneously in New York and Los Angeles with confirmed guests including Taylor Swift and Shakira.

The global fund raiser, which has been organised by George Clooney, will be shown live on MTV in the UK, as well as just about every other network across on the planet.

Wyclef Jean and George Clooney are lined up to host the US shows, while here in the UK it's rumoured that Twilight star, Robert Pattinson will take the lead.

The show will be broadcast live at 1am on Saturday 23rd January, but don't worry if you can't stay up to watch it, the show will be repeated at 9am on Viva and MTV.

Plus, you'll be able to download all the live tracks from the show from iTunes with all proceeds going to help Haiti.
