Joe McElderry's second attempt at xmas No. 1

2009 X Factor winner, Joe is hoping to score a Christmas No. 1 two years after getting knocked back by Rage Against The Machine.

Following his X Factor win, Joe released his winner's song, a cover of Miley Cyrus' 'The Climb'.  Unfortunately for Joe a Facebook campaign was intent on stopping him from getting to the top of the Christmas chart with the rock classic 'Killing In The Name Of'.

Now, two years on, Joe is releasing a new album called 'Classic Christmas' and the album's lead single could make an appearance in our festive top 40, it is a Christmas classic - 'Last Christmas'.

Could Joe make it to Christmas No. 1 2011?

  6. "Sorry Joe, but I do believe that SandAid - We've Still Got Christmas has a better chance, this song is actually about Christmas and is aimed at giving all children a great christmas as 50p from every download goes to Children in Need. It is the underdog of the century as all the artists featured are unsigned - and it was written by them too, but it is an amazingly piece of emotional music"
