Miley Cyrus quits Twitter
One of the world's biggest celebrity tweeters has closed her account and turned her back on her 2 million followers.
Until last night, Miley Cyrus was Twitter's 12th most popular user with 2,114,814 followers. Miley tweeted her 2000th update at the beginning of the month and now, a week later she's closed her account.
Right now, the top "trending topic" (if you're not a Twitter-holic, that means the most popular topic) is the hash tag #mileycomeback, with thousands of fans posting to the hash tag with requests for their favourite celebrity tweeter to return.
Miley is rumoured to be currently dating Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth of Neighbours fame. The gossip being re-tweeted around the micro-blogging site is that Liam doesn't have a Twitter account and thinks that Miley shouldn't have one either.
