Military Wives' Choir hoping for Christmas No. 1 hit

A group of wives whose husbands are serving in Afghanistan are hoping for a Xmas No. 1 after rising to fame in BBC show The Choir.

The single, which features lines from letters and poems the women and their husbands, will be released in support of the Royal British Legion and the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association.

The Choir followed the wives on their journey as they prepared to perform at the Festival of Remembrance in the Albert Hall.

The wives will be hoping that 'Wherever You Are' will beat this year's X Factor winner for their place at the top of the chart as well as a Facebook campaign to get a classic from Nirvana.
