Robbie: Lifetime Achievement BRIT is "very special"
He also joshes that the Take That reunion is off after a massive fall-out.
Robbie Williams told us that winning the BRIT for Lifetime Achievement will be ‘very, very special'.
Speaking ahead of tonight's ceremony at London's Earls Court, the singer said:
"You turn up at an awards ceremony and it's all very subjective. There are other people who've been nominated for the same thing and you don't know how to take it. Lifetime Achievement though is very, very special and I'll regard it as such".
And how is the Robster going to celebrate tonight's historic win? Disappointingly, by having a quiet night...
"I'm throwing a party which I'll be at for fifteen minutes. Then I'll be back at the flat watching AC Milan play Manchester United".
Finally he also joked (we hope) that the much-rumoured Take That reunion was off after a massive bust-up.
"Gary wanted to do all the lead vocals. I think I've proven my point over the years that I can actually do the lead vocals. Anyway, we've all fallen out and it's off".
