Sugababes split
The Sugababes have fallen apart! Keisha has quit the band making room for Eurovision singer Jade Ewen. Have your say on your favourite line-up and what you think of the new girl here...
The rumours popped up a few weeks ago when Amelle Berrabah reportedly went missing for several days, following a bust-up with fellow member Keisha Buchanan. Keisha and Heidi Range were forced to perform as a duo, while Amelle was nowhere to be seen. At the time, the rumour was that Amelle was to quite the band.
The rumours reached a high last week when Heatworld announced that Eurovision singer Jade Ewen would be replacing Amelle. Jade Ewen's record label Geffen even sent out an official statement which said that Jade Ewen would be taking time off from all promotional activity for a while.
Then to everyone's surprise, the truth was revealed... and we were all wrong, it's in fact the only original member of the band, Keisha who has gone to persue a solo career.
It also emerged this week that the Sugababes are all attending the MOBOs – but not as a group. Keisha is there to present an award and Amelle will be performing her duet with Tinchy Stryder.
The Sugababes have already seen two line-up changes. The band formed in 1998 with original members Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy. Siobhan quit in 2001, claiming she was ‘bullied out’ by Keisha. The girls saw massive success with new member Heidi Range, and kept going despite Mutya leaving the band in 2005.

"i think keshia is the orginal member and now that she left i think the should change the name because its not sugababes anymore keshia was a gd singer but then again of course she would be jelous becuase of ameeles huge hit with tinchy styder because their ladies and ladies are always going to be jelous about on another but i hate helidia for back stabbing keshia , HOwever Jade is a good singer "

"why is every1 sayin amelle is trouble? she only did 1 solo song an keisha shud stop bein jeolous an let other ppl sing! an sugababes is rubbish now cuz there is no original sugababes but i liked it with heidi amelle an keisha i dont think jade suites the band and im glad mutya an siobhan went cuz i liked them 3. an heidi is kind of an original she was there 4 9 years an siobhan was only their 4 3"
