Kanye West Will Be Headlining Glastonbury 2015
The enigma that is Kanye West is going to headline the iconic British festival and some of you are more happy than others.
Last night Glastonbury organisers confirmed that the iconic rapper will be headlining the Saturday night of the legendary festival. A statement on the official website read:
'We’re very excited to reveal that Kanye West will headline the Saturday night of this year’s Glastonbury Festival. This will be the rapper’s first appearance at the Festival.'
This was further confirmed by Emily Eavis, daughter of festival founder Michael Eavis on her personal twitter account:
We are thrilled to let you know we have the one and only Kanye West headlining Saturday night on the Pyramid stage!

Glastonbury has always been known as a laid back festival which welcomes artists from all genres to grace the world renown Pyramid stage. However it seems as if some people aren't as happy as others that Yeezy will be Saturday's headliner.
Glastonbury used to mean something.

However let's remember for every negative, there's a positive:

Come June 24th-28th, we're sure Kanye will be winning over some of the doubters. Let's all remember to celebrate the music and of course there are going to be HUNDREDS of artists there too! Good luck Yeezy.
