Woo! Mark Ronson Brings 'Uptown Funk' Release Forward!

Mark Ronson has brought the release of 'Uptown Funk' forward. But was his hand forced?

You may have already been familiar with Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk after the video dropped last week however after Saturday's airing of the X Factor it is almost impossible to not have had a cheeky listen to it.

Contestant Fleur East styled out a version of the song which left the judges speechless. However it wasn't just Simon Cowell and co. who were impressed at the performance as thousands flocked to iTunes to buy Fleur's version right after the show.

Simon admitted to only hearing the song on the previous Sunday after One Direction songwriter Julian Bunetta had shown him.

In fact, the cover made a debut appearance at No.4 in the Big Top 40 chart on Sunday!

This all hasn't gone unnoticed by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars who have decided to the release the original version of the track a whole MONTH early. The only question is, is Mark Ronson happy about it? We'll have to wait and see. Good friend Lily Allen seemed to question why X Factor were already covering it:
