Listen to the latest chart songs in the UK top 40 from the 1st May 2016 show:

No.39 - '6 Inch' feat. The Weeknd

No. 37 - 'Freedom'

No.31 - Prince - 'Little Red Corvette'

Even Slipknot's lead singer Corey Taylor paid tribute to Prince with his very own version of 'Little Red Corvette'.

'Little red Corvette, baby you're much too fast.'

Trust us, this isn't going to be the last Prince single you see today. The legend passed away last week however his music lives on. We'll never forget him as one of the best showman in music as well as one of the most talented songwriters in history.

No.29: 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' - Shawn Mendes & Camilla Cabello

'It's tearing me apart, she's slipping away.'

How is this ONLY just making the chart now? It has been around for a while now however Shawn Mendes & Camila have finally found their way into the top 40 with this sweet tune.

No.28: '1999'

'Tonight we're gonna party like it's 1999.'

Probably one of Prince's funkiest tunes. We literally want to turn back time and play this as loud as possible just as the new Millennium started. What a song!

No.24 - 'Kiss'

Sexy, cool and catchy. 'Kiss' from Prince is giving us all the feels today.

No.22 - 'Raspberry Beret'

Coldplay took to the stage and sung their very own version of 'Rasberry Beret'...we're kind of tearing up over here.

No.14: Beyoncé - 'Formation'

'I dream it, I work hard, I grind 'til I own it'

Queen B released the video for this single a long time ago however now 'Lemonade' is finally available to us all, it has jumped straight up the chart!

No.12: Prince - 'When Doves Cry'

R.I.P Prince, you'll be missed.

No.4: Beyoncé - 'Hold Up'

'They don't love you like I love you'.

So if you haven't realised, pretty much EVERY song from 'Lemonade' is in the it should be!

No.1: 'This Is What You Came For' - Calvin Harris & Rihanna

'Lightning strikes every time she moves, and everybody's watching her.'

We have a brand new No.1 people! Calvin Harris & Rihanna's new single has absolutely stormed the chart after just a few days after being released let alone announced, wow.
