Released: 6th January 2016
Ed Sheeran's 'Castle On The Hill' is one of those songs that's guaranteed to take your breath away on the first listen..and the second...and the third...
2016 was officially an Ed-less year and you know what...we really weren't big fans of that. So, when Mr.Sheeran posted a video on New Year's Day 2017, saying that new music was on the way...well, we got just a bit excited.
What we weren't ready for however was that he'd be releasing not one but TWO singles for us!
Along with 'Castle On The Hill', Ed released the insanely catchy 'Shape Of You ' for all those of you who like to get a little dance on when you're listening to Vodafone Big Top 40.
The release of the single came just days after he teased us with a few lyrics from the tune...

Ed went on to bag the No.2 spot for multiple weeks with the single (obviously the only single that kept it off the top spot was Ed's 'Shape Of You').
