This Week's Top 10 (25th January 2015)
-
1. 10. 'The Nights' - Avicii
Fancy a feel good track to brighten up any day? Well this will do the trick. 'The Nights' will leave you smiling from ear to ear with it's amazing lyrics and happy vibes.
-
2. 9. 'Rhymes' - Hannah Wants & Chris Lorenzo
Hannah Wants is a self taught DJ from Birmingham notorious for her bass heavy drops and house music tempo. She bursts into the top ten with this Daft Punk remix.
-
3. 8. 'Blank Space' - Taylor Swift
This lady sure knows how to write a top ten hit. Tay Tay's two singles 'Shake It Off' and 'Blank Space' have now spent a joint 34 weeks in the chart and it doesn't look like she'll be stopping any time soon. #ChartDomination
-
4. 7. 'Say Something' - Karen Harding
You may remember Karen from season ten of the UK X Factor. She reached boot camp however just missed the cut. However that hasn't stopped her as debut single 'Say Something' creeps into our top ten. Congrats Karen :D
-
5. 6. 'Up' - Olly Murs & Demi Lovato
Olly and Demi go together like American pie and jellied eels….actually that's pretty gross. This American/Brit mash up has been in the chart for seven weeks now and doesn't look like it will be budging any time soon.

6. 5. 'Wish You Were Mine' - Philip George
Sometimes you have to stand up and give a spontaneous round of applause to someone who deserves it. Philip has risen to the top in a matter of weeks with his debut single and we can't wait to hear more.
-
7. 4. 'Lips Are Movin' - Meghan Trainor
We LOVE Meghan. Miss Trainor came in for a chat this week and we can confirm she is ADORABLE. Her second single has fallen this however we're sure the track will stick around a little longer…we still can't stop throwing down some shapes to this.
-
8. 3. 'Take Me To Church' - Hozier
Amen. Our favourite Irish singer has climbed a place to No.3. It just keeps getting better and better for the man from Whitlow, whose second single 'From Eden' is a MUST listen if you haven't already.
-
9. 2. 'L.A Love (La La)' - Fergie
She's back! The Black Eyed Peas songstress returns with this sizzlin' single and catapults straight into second place only hours after it's release. Don't phunk with her heart, she's got her eyes on the No.1 prize next weekend.
-
10. 1. 'Uptown Funk' - Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars
They have done it! An incredible SEVEN weeks in a row at the top of the chart and the funkalicious duo have made chart history with the longest No.1 reign on the Vodafone Big Top 40.
