After a six-week winning streak, Bruno Mars was finally knocked off the top spot by Alex Warren whose single 'FEVER DREAM' has gone straight to Number 1. We've also seen a lot of movement on the chart this week from artists who either won or performed at The BRIT Awards 2026...

Despite the release of Bruno Mars' hotly anticipated album 'The Romantic', it wasn't enough to keep the '777' singer Number 1 for a seventh week. Instead, Alex Warren's swooped in with new entry 'FEVER DREAM'. This comes the day after Alex took to the stage at Manchester's Co-Op Live performing 'Ordinary' at The BRIT Awards 2026 with surprise guest, James Blunt. This is Alex Warren's second time at the top spot on The Big Top 40, and both his Number 1 singles bookend this week's Top 10 at 1 and 10.

We've seen "The BRITs effect" elsewhere on the chart, with quadruple BRIT Award winner Olivia Dean going up three places with 'It's So Easy (To Fall In Love)' and again up a massive 14 places with her Sam Fender collab, 'Rein Me In' which won Song of The Year with Mastercard supported by Capital.

RAYE gave a stunning performance of 'WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!' and its follow up 'Nightingale Lane.' on stage at the Co-Op Live. New entry 'Nightingale Lane' has gone straight in at Number 4, securing RAYE two spots in the top 5.

Taking home her first BRIT, Lola Young was named this year's Breakthrough Artist and her hit single 'Messy' has gone up two places this week. It's also been a busy week for the Kpop Demon Hunters Cast who performed 'Golden' at both the BAFTAs and BRITs - also a chart climber.

Can Alex Warren make it a second week at Number 1, or will Bruno Mars reclaim the top spot and score a seventh week with ‘I Just Might’? Or will RAYE's new entry 'Nightingale Lane.' climb a week after release?
