Ed Sheeran was battling against himself for Number 1 this week on The Official Big Top 40.

Last week's Number 1 'I Don't Care' with Justin Bieber was going head-to-head with Ed's new song 'Cross Me'.

In the end, 'I Don't Care' held on to make it a whole month at Number 1 on The Official Big Top 40.

The massive new track is Ed's ninth and Justin's eighth Number 1 song on the UK's biggest chart show.

'Cross Me' - featuring Chance the Rapper & PnB Rock - had to settle for Number 2 this week, with Lil Nas X's 'Old Town Road' at Number 3.

Khalid was on the show this week and he appeared to tease that he's worked with Ed on his new collaborations album too.

Sigala also joined Will Manning as his new song 'Wish You Well' with Becky Hill climbed a huge 18 places to Number 6.

There were also New Entries this week from the likes of Katy Perry, Cheryl, and Mark Ronson and Camila Cabello.
