Lewis Capaldi asks to feature on Little Mix's new song

Lewis Capaldi has called for Little Mix to let him feature on the viral hit 'Wasabi' from their album 'LM5'.

The 'Someone You Loved' singer joined Will Manning on The Official Big Top 40 and gave us the latest update on those Little Mix collaboration plans he'd discussed previously.

Lewis revealed that he wants to take on a verse in Little Mix's song 'Wasabi', which has recently become a huge, viral hit on the app TikTok.

We know that Little Mix have seen Lewis' plea after they retweeted a video from The Official Big Top 40 during the show... now, we've just got to wait and see whether it becomes a reality.

Also on this week's chart, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello made it six weeks at Number 1 with 'Señorita'.

It means the pair have equalled Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber's record for the most weeks at Number 1 in 2019.

There was no change at Number 2 for Kygo and Whitney Houston's 'Higher Love' while Sam Smith climbed to Number 3 with 'How Do You Sleep?' - the song's highest placing so far.

The week's highest New Entry came from Ariana Grande. Her new single 'Boyfriend' was released on Friday and, just two days on, has gone straight in at Number 6.
