Stormzy's 'Own It', featuring Ed Sheeran and Burna Boy, has rocketed to the top of The Official Big Top 40 this Sunday.

The British rapper has bagged his third Number 1 song on the UK's biggest chart show with his latest single 'Own It'.

It's the second time that Stormzy's topped the charts with Ed Sheeran - the pair previously went to Number 1 with Stormzy's remix of 'Shape Of You' back in February 2017.

It's a big week for Big Mike. Not only has he shot to Number 1, his second album Heavy Is the Head is released on Friday (13th December) and yesterday Stormzy headlined the first night of Capital's Jingle Bell Ball with SEAT.

It meant last week's Number 1 - 'Before You Go' from Lewis Capaldi - had to settle for second place on this week's chart.

Sian Welby was looking after things for Will Manning and revealed a huge five New Entries, with The Weeknd's new single 'Blinding Lights' making its debut at Number 5 - the week's highest New Entries.

There were also New Entries this week from the likes of Harry Styles and Mabel, plus a load of Re-Entries as some Christmas classics begin to make their way back into the UK chart.

The X Factor Celebrities were at Number 3 with their charity cover of Snow Patrol's 'Run'.
