Ahead of Sunday's show, we asked listeners to send in their chart predictions and many people called it. 'The Fate of Ophelia' is at the top of our chart for a second week, with 'Opalite' close behind at Number 2. In fact, Taylor Swift has three songs from 12th studio album 'The Life of a Showgirl' in the Top 5, and a further two in our chart overall.
It was equal amounts of fun, laughter, and chaos this week as Anne-Marie joined Will Manning in the studio. Anne-Marie learned her single 'DEPRESSED' had gone up three places after re-entering our Top 10, plus Will put the singer on the spot with a song ranking challenge that made her feel itchy. Maybe Anne-Marie can play the clip back to her two babies to teach them, after revealing they don't know about Mummy's cool job!
From one member of music royalty to another. The Queen of Pop Madonna had a new entry from the 30th-anniversary reissue of her 1994 album, 'Bedtime Stories', featuring an EP of unreleased tracks like 'Right On Time (Original Demo Edit)', this week's Number 32.
Madonna's not the only music legend with new material in the chart this week - Robbie Williams is at 26 with 'Pretty Face', plus ZAYN and JISOO's collaboration 'EYES CLOSED' is already in the top 40 just two days after release.
We also had a new entry from one of the biggest names in country music who's UK tour tickets go on sale this Thursday... that's right, we're talking about Luke Coombs who's Number 30 with 'My Kinda Saturday Night'.
Can 'The Fate of Ophelia' make it a third week at Number 1 or will Taylor Swift overtake herself with 'Opalite'?
Listen to The EE Official Big Top 40 Sunday from 4pm on Global Player to find out 'The Fate of Ophelia'... literally.
