After holding on to the top spot for the past seven weeks with ‘The Fate of Ophelia’, it was all to play for to see if anyone could knock Taylor from number one this week…

Taylor Swift is back and holding onto the title of Number 1 in this week’s chart! After releasing her record-breaking album ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ last month, it’s been a Taylor takeover in every Top 10 since. Her lead single ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ marks eight weeks in the top spot and swift favourite ‘Opalite’ has been a close second runner, coming in at this week’s number 5.
Elsewhere in the chart we’ve seen 6 new entries, including the Spice Girls and the new Wicked soundtrack!
Christmas is also slowly on its way as we see a BIG mover from the Queen of Christmas… Mariah Carey! Her iconic track ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ is up a massive 22 places this week as the UK slowly but surely gets into the festive spirit. Will we be seeing more Christmas entries in next week’s chart?
Amongst this week’s new entries, we see a track come in from 1997! The Spice Girls’ ‘Viva Forever’ is 28th in the chart after Victoria Beckham released a heartwarming video of her and son Cruz duetting to the famous track.
