Liam Payne Is About To Appear On "The Catchiest Song Of The Year" With Zedd

The 'Stay' producer is hoping to score another summer smash with the former One Direction star.

After dropping his debut single. 'Strip That Down', earlier this month, we've been hooked on Liam Payne's new sound!

The One Direction singer has taken a very different direction from his bandmates Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles, with a more urban-inspired vibe.

It turns out that we're not the only ones who love it - German producer Zedd is so on board with Liam's sound that the duo are about to drop what is sure to be one of summer 2017's biggest anthems.

Speaking to Apple Music's Beats1, the 'Clarity' producer revealed that the unnamed track is "the definition of a summer song" with a Drake-ish influence.

"It's probably the most urban-ish influenced song I've ever done, it's insanely catchy and you're gonna hate it after a while because it's so catchy!"

No word yet on a track title or release date, but it will follow the Alessia Cara collaboration 'Stay' and 'Starving', with Hailee Steinfeld & Grey, as the third track from Zedd's third studio album.
