Ava Max has claimed the first Official Big Top 40 Number 1 of 2019 with 'Sweet but Psycho'.

The track went to Number 1 back at the start of December and has climbed back to the top following the Christmas break.

It meant Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus had to settle for Number 2 with their collaboration 'Nothing Breaks Like A Heart'.

The track has been within touching distance of the Number 1 trophy for the last month, alongside Jess Glynne's 'Thursday' which was this week's Number 3 song.

It was Will Manning's first show as the new host of The Official Big Top 40 and there was plenty of chart action.

With all the Christmas songs now out of the way, there were 11 Re-Entries and 3 New Entries on the chart.

Fleur East joined Will in the studio as her new single 'Favourite Thing' debuted at Number 28. Post Malone's 'Wow' and Chris Brown's 'Undecided' were this week's other New Entries.
