Calvin Harris and Clementine Douglas continue to stay in the top spot with 'Blessings' for a fourth week in a row!
The song entered the chart 5 weeks ago at Number 5 and has since remained in the top spot! Whilst this is Calvin's 13th Number 1 on the EE Official Big Top 40, it is Clementine's first after appearing on the chart on 5 separate occasions!
'Blessings' staying in the top spot means that Alex Warren's 'Ordinary' continues to be denied of a Number 1. The song has been in the top 3 for 12 weeks!
This week we also had YUNGBLUD and sombr on the show! sombr chatted all about his hit 'undressed' and how it "was so effortless" to make. Whilst YUNGBLUD was chatting about new single 'Zombie'. Dom and Will discussed the idea behind the music video and how it came about. They also chatted about the time he heard Lewis Capaldi's new music. Elsewhere on the chart, there are six new entries including Sabrina Carpenter's 'Manchild' at 38 and Miley Cyrus' 'Easy Lover' at 7.
After entering that chart at 38 last week, Tate McRae's 'Just Keep Watching' is this week's highest climber! Up 20 places to 18. And this week's highest new entry is Ed Sheeran's latest release, 'Sapphire'. This is Ed's third release for his eighth studio album album 'Play' which is set to be released on 12th September this year.
