Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber's new song 'I Don't Care' has gone straight to Number 1 on The Official Big Top 40.

The pair released the track on Friday and - after just two days - it's debuted at Number 1 on the UK's biggest chart show.

'I Don't Care' is Ed's ninth and Justin's eighth Official Big Top 40 Number 1, putting Ed level with fellow Brit, Calvin Harris.

Ed and Justin knocked Taylor Swift's 'ME!' off the top spot, with Lewis Capaldi's 'Hold Me While You Wait' at Number 2.

Lewis joined Will Manning on the show and he finally picked up his Number 1 trophy for 'Someone You Loved'.

He also revealed that he'd love to work on music with his friend Niall Horan but they've not put any time aside just yet.

Bastille were also special guests this week and the band recounted the time that they appeared in Game of Thrones.

Their new single 'Joy' was a New Entry this week at Number 23. Along with Ed and Justin's Number 1 song, James Arthur's 'Falling Like The Stars' was the week's other New Entry at Number 35.
