Ed Sheeran Ends Adele's Month-Long Reign As 'Overpass Graffiti' Tops The Chart

After four weeks of 'Easy On Me' mania, Ed Sheeran has skyrocketed to the top of the charts with 'Overpass Graffiti'.

Ed Sheeran has nabbed the number one spot on this week's Official Big Top 40!

Last month, Adele's first single from her hotly-anticipated fourth album, '30', entered the chart in the highest spot – after reigning the Top 40 for four weeks, 'Overpass Graffiti' has now overtaken.

After debuting at number seven last week, Ed celebrates his latest single going to number one, he currently has three tracks from 'Equals' holding a position in the top 10.

The 30-year-old has even broken an Official Big Top 40 record as the first artist to have four different songs bag the top spot on the chart this year – go Ed!

The week's highest New Entry came from Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak – also known as Sonic Silc – with 'Smokin Out The Window', coming in at an impressive eight place.

Will Manning chatted to the duo about their electric new tune and even joked about chart regular, Mr Ed Sheeran!

'One Right Now' by none other than Post Malone and The Weeknd scored the last spot in the Top 10 as another impressively high new entry.

This week's biggest climber goes to Little Mix with 'Cut You Out' by Little Mix, who have three songs currently charting.
