Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685's TikTok hit 'Savage Love' is Number 1 on The Official Big Top 40.

Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685's 'Savage Love' has gone to Number 1 on the UK's biggest chart show this week.

The track samples producer Jawsh 685's viral TikTok hit 'Laxed - Siren Beat' and becomes Jason's sixth UK Number 1.

Jason joined Will Manning on FaceTime from LA as the news was revealed and he couldn't hide his excitement.

"Are you joking?! Man, it's incredible," Jason told the show, "You know, I need that little Number 1 plaque."

Jason has become one of the world's biggest celebrities on TikTok, racking up 25 million followers since joining in March.

'Savage Love' puts an end to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande's reign at the top with their collaboration 'Rain On Me'.

The single has spent the last month at Number 1 and was just a week away from equalling the record set by The Weeknd's 'Blinding Lights' as the song that's spent the most weeks at the top this year.

'Rain On Me' slipped to Number 2 this Sunday with The Killers' 'My Own Soul's Warning' becoming the highest New Entry of the week, debuting at Number 3.
