Jade Thirlwall says she's looking for a Geordie boyfriend, as the star joined Will Manning on The Official Big Top 40.

Little Mix are back with a bang - with their new single debuting at Number 1 on the UK's biggest chart show.

'Break Up Song' was only released on Friday but in just two days it had already amassed enough streams, downloads and radio play to take it to the top of the chart, knocking off Lady Gaga's 'Stupid Love'.

Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall joined Will Manning on FaceTime from her London flat to find out the news.

Conversation also got on to Jade's dating life. The 27-year-old singer is the only single member of the group and admitted she's "give up on dating altogether" at the moment.

"I try messaging people and I think... bit bored now," Jade confessed about using dating apps in the past. So what's she looking for in a potential suitor?

"You have to make us laugh, you've got to be normal," the star said, "Someone who likes going to the pub for a pint... [and] will take us to Toby Carvery. I feel like I need a Geordie boyfriend but there's not many of them in London."

Jade revealed that boys from outside her hometown aren't necessarily on the same wavelength as her: "Geordie humour - we're quite sarcastic - and sometimes they just cant handle it."

Jade also discussed opening up her own nightclub back in South Shields, starting out on TikTok, and the problems with self-isolation (like someone randomly joining your Houseparty call).

Tinie was also on The Official Big Top 40 to talk about his new track 'Top Winner' featuring Not3s and there were New Entries from Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, The Killers, and PARTYNEXTDOOR and Rihanna.
