The soundtrack to the Barbie Movie has taken over the chart, spawning six entries.

Two months after its release as the lead single of ‘Barbie: The Album’, Dua Lipa’s ‘Dance The Night’ has landed the Number 1 spot after flying up 14 places - also making it the highest climber of the week! The Barbie Movie has already grossed more than £750 million worldwide in just over a week, so it’s no surprise that today’s Big Top 40 chart sees five other tracks from the soundtrack.

Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice’s huge TikTok trending track ‘Barbie World (with Aqua)’ is at Number 18 in its sixth week in the chart. Charli XCX’s offering ‘Speed Drive’ is at 16, one of three new entries from the soundtrack, joining Lizzo’s ‘Pink’ at Number 12 and Ryan Gosling’s kenergy power ballad ‘I’m Just Ken’ as this week’s highest new entry at 11. Last but not least, Billie Eilish’s beautiful ‘What What I Made For?’ from one of the most talked about moments from the film spends its third week in the chart at Number 8.

Here’s a look at the full Top 10 this week.

Outside of Barbie-mania, this week saw new entries to the chart from a number of epic collaborations. Chase & Status & Bou’s drum & bass banger ‘Baddadan’ takes Number 35. After its release just two days ago, Calvin Harris and Sam Smith’s ‘Desire’ is straight in at 31. Plus, Stormzy and RAYE’s 00s R&B track ‘The Weekend’ is at Number 13. We also saw the return of S Club, their first new song in 20 years, ‘These Are The Days’, going in at 34.
