Noah Kahan has the first Number 1 of 2024, and his very first Number 1 with 'Stick Season'. Noah beats huge competition from John Squire and Liam Gallagher.

Up a huge 17 places, 'Stick Season', Noah beats huge competition from Liam Gallagher and John Squire, Dua Lipa, and previous Number 1 Jack Harlow. 'Stick Season' was originally released in October of 2022, but charted for the first time in October of 2023. The song began its viral journey thanks to Olivia Rodrigo and her cover of the song, and has made its way all the way to the top. Congratulations, Noah!

Elsewhere in the Top 10 includes new entries from Liam Gallagher and John Squire with 'Just Another Rainbow', Teddy Swims gets his first ever Top 40 and Top 5 entry with 'Lose Control', and deluxe track 'Strangers' from Lewis Capaldi's latest album enters at Number 8.

Plus, Harry Styles' 'As It Was' continues its chart domination as it re-enters the Top 10 for an impressive 86th week. The song has now charted for an insane 1.5 years. 'As It Was' is this week's Number 9.

A huge new entry comes from this week's guest Sophie Ellis-Bextor! After her iconic 2001 single 'Murder On The Dancefloor' was used in controversial movie 'Saltburn', the track has surged in popularity and is yet another to be blessed with TikTok fame.

'Murder...' is new at Number 27, and Sophie discussed her reaction to the scene the song features in, and what she said to actor Barry Keoghan about the scene. Check out the clip below!
