Chart Review: Ella Henderson Storms To No. 1 On The Vodafone Big Top 40

Ella Henderson has stormed to number one on the Vodafone Big Top 40 with her new single 'Ghost'.

The track, which hit the top spot on iTunes less than an hour after its release, marks her debut single since she competed on 'The X Factor'. 

"I feel amazing amazing! I'm really proud of the song," she told Greg Burns and Kat Shoob. "I wrote with with a massive icon of mine Ryan Tedder. Whatever the outcome was, I'm so happy with it.

"I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me from day one. I couldn't be happier right now!" 

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran fell from one to two with 'Sing', Tiesto's 'Wasted' debuted at number three, and Lana Del Rey's 'Brooklyn Baby' from her new album 'Ultraviolence' entered at five. 

Elsewhere, Little Mix climbed to number seven with 'Salute', and there were new entries outside the top ten from The Neon Brotherhood, Kasabian and Wilkinson.
