Halsey Praises Friends Ariana Grande And Shawn Mendes In Honest Message

Halsey has praised her close friend Ariana Grande following the release of her new song 'thank u, next' and had an incredibly sweet message for Canadian singer Shawn Mendes.
Halsey was speaking to Marvin Humes on The Official Vodafone Big Top 40 about her musical friends.
The 'Without Me' singer applauded Ariana's new song 'thank u, next' saying it "really resonated with me."

"As soon as it came out I texted her and I was like 'thank you'," Halsey said.
"As someone who's been scrutinised and watched - not even remotely to the degree of what she has been - you know it can be really hard to lose yourself to letting other people take over your narrative and decide what's happening."
"I think a lot of other artists would have crumbled under that media pressure," Halsey remarked.
'thank u, next' debuted at Number 1 on this Sunday's Official Vodafone Big Top 40.
Halsey also shared her admiration for "handsome devil" Shawn Mendes, joking that "it looks like he's made of wax."
She was also full of praise for Shawn's relationship with his fans and managing to keep himself grounded.
"He and I have one really important thing in common and it's that we care about our fans more than anything," she said, "I can see it in his work ethic and i can see it in his humility."
